From what everyone is saying...
about throttling, prioritizing, & dropping connections, it sounds like a problem regardless of cause or intent. What it really sounds like is the policy airlines have of overbooking flights (oh sorry,we're overbooked and everyone showed up for the flight, so some of you will have to re-book). If they sell you X amount of bandwidth, it should be available always. It is not like someone is getting more bandwidth than they paid for. (Oh, sorry, we didn't count on most of our customers being on line at the same time / hey this bandwidth is underutilized, sign up more customers.) Yes, it is just economics, but it is still a load of BS. No offense to anyone who optimizes badwidth (or whatever) for a living. It is just part of a lame economic model. Hey, that chunk of dirt with trees sticking up out of it is just doing NOTHING...
