Europe edges closer to mobile phones on planes

Dear God the noise....: I hate being next to someone in a restaurant or on the street when they are on their cell phone. Can you freaking imagine being sandwiched between 8 people all jabbering on their cell phones, each trying to talk louder than the next so their conversation is heard? And then to have people look at you as if you are rude when you are listening in on their conversations.
