Can't help wondering if Google
wouldn't be willing to help their erstwhile partner eBay by taking Skype off its hands at a reasonable discount. Skype could then be integrated with the less dominant (but in my experience, technically more advanced) Google Talk, and Google could attempt to use its click-on-the-ads revenue model to monetise the service. The question is, would callers be as willing to click on those discreet ads as surfers obviously are ?...

As for Niklas Zennstr?m (ZDNet bloggers do seem to have difficulties with names that use non ASCII-glyphs ; ?Zennstroem? would be an acceptable alternative), he's laughing all the way to the bank....
