"May 04, 2006 ? QUALCOMM Incorporated and Microsoft Corp. today jointly announced a collaboration to enable the porting of the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system to QUALCOMM?s Mobile Station Modem (MSM) chipsets."

We should also note that Apple is now clear from backdate stock options issues and that the General Counsel of Apple has moved to Qualcomm. This was just 10 months after joining Apple. Donald Rosenberg has been replaced at Apple by Danniel Cooperman, formerly General Counsel at Oracle.

The days of design by legals are hopefully over. But These movements need to be monitored.
