Mobility Is Not Everythig
Some computing functions in life don't benefit from mobility; some use multiple large monitors or need regular access to physical devices, and others are risked by mobility. And as more and more wireless devices are on the air there likely will be more and more interference nuisances.

Also today's laptop keyboards and other small devices (the hallmark of mobility) may all be useable but they require a physical finesse which can be tedious and counterproductive when used over extended periods of time.

It strikes me that both wired and wireless will coexist forever.
