Broadcasters are wrong
Back in the Begining of radio and TV,the big 3 got licenses dirt cheap, and without a fair auction, they were hogs back then, they still are today! This all about controlling the consumer(you & me),and what kind of access we can have, and how much money they can make without having to make any changes to the present marketing practices, these guys ain't suing P2P sites and YouTube for nothing! It's easier for them to still attempt to control and influence Politics & Society,TV and Internet have a great influence on the average person's world-view,and how we think! It's all about greed & power!
