Unfortunately...
lawmakers will have to be involved with all these kinds of decisions, so don't hold your breath on this. No telling how long it'll take. And just to head off any question about why lawmakers have to get involved, the "people" (read government) own the airways. Anything new being added to them has to be approved by the government.
