Unlike others, Google does not want to use the bandwidth to limit
competition and keep prices of bandwidth high. On the contrary, Google wants lots of low cost bandwidth to increase the usage of the network. With lots more people being able to use the web from almost anywhere at a very low cost, Google and other web properties will make more money, that simple.
