Man, cry me a river. Poor TV stations not willing to move into the 21st
century and make the investments needed, and get rid of the 50 year old technology.

And, Google was asking for regulations that would make even Google play fair, if they won the bidding. Unlike the other companies that want to restrict competition and screw the public, Google wants open access. I would personally rather have a free and open national network with free roaming nationwide than a one time pop for the US Government that will not be put to good use.
