3G chipsets bad for USA
The truth is that the USA government shouldn't allow consumer rip off. The 3G chip sets represent technology dumping. They are worse than bad wine because allowing cellphone network infrastructure to be built to support 3G, detracts from appropriate use of the wireless broadband TV infrastructure for WiMax.

The USA is different from other countries. It has 700 Mhz airwaves that are about to be freed up via HiDef TV implementation. Air that is below 1Ghz is far superior for broadband not only because the infrastructure has already been built and in use for 4 decades in the USA but also because fewer towers are needed for full mobility.

Think about poor phone reception because you are traveling at 70 MPH then think about a bullet train and 150 MPH. 3Gh just is not the future. We should not allow investors and consumers to be involved with it in the USA. There is the iPhone after all. Instead we should do everything we can to halt that inappropriate technology and support WiMax in 700 Mhz.
