comparing iPods and iPhones...

There IS no parallel between what the iPod did (Much greater storage than the other Digital Music Players due to generally un-tried Hard Drive Technology), and the iPhone, which does nothing really that any OTHER smart phone does besides bringing Apple's OS to the device. I suspect that anybody shelling out 5 to 6 hundred dollars for these things, and plugging into a 2 year contract, will be feeling all the warm happy joy that Apple Newton owners felt 7 years after it was introduced.

With so many experienced Cellphone makers out there it seems that, unlike the infant MP3 player market which limited itself to the available Flash Media capacities, the iPhone will fall far short of the Price AND the Hype...
