Too right.
Nerfing manufactured features just so you can soak your customers for more nickels and dimes is just lame - it should be against a consumer law.

A few years ago I spent over $300 on a Moto V710 - only to find out bluetooth file transfer was disabled by Verizon. Oh, but they were glad to upgrade my account to a data plan and pointed me to the ringtone download page...


Good job, Verizon - take a great phone with tons of useful features, that I spent quite a bit of time researching, only to find it turned off.

Add to that - your "support" people had no clue what I was talking about.
