I do not agree. Writing is a simple form of communication. Text documents are just a sequence of symbols. If writing is just a string of concepts, why not translate into a coding system that has the fastest bandwidth to the brain? Computers can easily do that today. It just the conventions that were created around the limitations of ink and paper that are holding us back from higher bandwidth communications with each other.
