- NOT educators, they are academics.
- the educators are too busy trying to get kids to shut up and act right so we can finish the school year. Academics on the other hand are the ones trying to figure out a new way to teach the kids, since the old way is either not allowed (see the beat it into 'em style) or not working (see the read it and discuss method). Apparently we are supposed to be making education more fun, because the kids can't be persuaded to quit watching MTV long enough to learn to read. Be careful, this silly thing could end up being funded for further study...
