RE: Vonage CEO Snyder out, spending to be trimmed
Vonage Phone Service has been a good servcie , Its the billing and customer servcie that has a lot to be desired. They use agressive sales tactics that are designed to wear down the customer to sign up for more or stay signed up. If you deside to cancel service. You can not use your on-line account to manage this cancelation. Once you call they barade you for additional reason as to why you wish to cancel, They continue to ask for more of your time in efforts to explain how they believe you are making a bad choice , then they offer other incentives to stay , But if you ask for a prorated billing and a refund for disconnect date , they qoute you that they can not prorate a refund , that the customer must call back on the end date of billing to have real time disconnection or disconnect at that moment and lose the service and money you have prepaid for . This is deeply disturbing , because, I asked for a refund, then was quoted that they could not di that, they could only disconnect , or I would have to call on the final billing day , if I miss that day the billingfor thenext month would go thru and I would have the same problem of getting the customer servcie I would expect. Bottom Line Vonage sales and service are less than customer friendly and for that I wrote of $20.39 dollars of my own hard earn money to cancel service . Thumbs down to the sales and service contract teams , As for the servcie itself , It was worht it to have but not to get out of once I chose I no longer wanted or needed this service. Boooooo Voanage....
