Why should Vonage continue to profit from stolen materials?

Vonage didn't steal anything. Patent laws needs to be updated to disallow patents on software and business processes.

It's bad policy to let one company own "connecting POTS and IP networks" and use that to eliminate competition. It's just as counterproductive now as it would have been if we allowed one company to own "digging coal from the ground" in an industrial economy.
