what about the 911 issue.
Shutting down an entire network which could lead to a prevention of 911 services would be disasterous. I do think that vonage would be at fault for not ensuring that they were not infringing on patents, but what about the judge? I would think he would grant an extension and closely monitor the situation. Your talking about forcing 2 million people to just change services overnight.

I can change to my cable provider, but i would need time to setup an appointment for the installation. They should be forced to tell their subscribers of the concequences of their actions and give everyone possible alternatives.

My other question here is .. what about 911 services as they are? Will there be a change, will anyone be affected by the change? Who is VoIP, Inc?
