Should I cancel Vonage and switch to other VoIP providers?
I heard enough about the Verizon patents and I know the old saying "if you are tired of it then don't read the news" but the news I've read just got me concerned.

Sometime during the future, I plan to sign up for the Captioned Telephone (www.captionedtelephone.com) service as I'm hearing impaired.

What if, in the future, is there a possibility that Verizon may sue Packet8, AT&T CallVantage, or others for patent infringement? To be fair, I haven't been a Verizon customer. Which providers should I go with that doesn't get any trouble with patent infringement with other providers like AT&T CallVantage and Packet8?

My post sounded like I didn't like patents, which of course I don't, but patents are here to stay...maybe the whole patent system and the patent laws need a reform but I can't be sure...
