What happened to our democracy; our freedom?
With so many hard working, good Americans getting the push these days thanks to offshoring, I'm more inclined to think about our own. The folks we're helping have proven to be (at best) apathetic toward America, so tell me where I'm wrong. I just think that slashing jobs is tantamount to slashing wrists. And so do millions of Americans.

And, there's nothing wrong with building other peoples' nations. But at the apparent cost of our own?

In the end, whatever. I'll take a wait and see approach to all this, we've been told to have faith and I prefer to work with people anyway, even when I don't like it. But Clinton's own record kinda proves he isn't trustworthy. (Indeed, many can live on $2/day in those countries. Can we live on $2/day in America? No, but you're not going to see the cost of living go down with the wages being offered for job qualifications that are grossly out of touch...)

Oh, and I love the television reference. Most western-made TV on 1989 wasn't all that stellar, but the stuff made today is utter garbage (to say the very least).
