Why Seattle: Because WiMax is killing the competition
You only need to talk to neighbors in Seattle who are canceling services all over the place owing to WiMax. AT&T/Cingular will own the town unless competitors can convince their existing customers to wait a few years or similar service.

Quest is being hit especially hard. Many folks, myself included and Bill Gates as well, put in ISDN from Quest for fast internet service. Thats 100 bucks a month basic vs 30 bucks a month for WiMax and the service is faster. WiMax sends the signal to a tower that is attached to AT&T fiber. Cable is a bottleneck. ISDN line is a bottleneck. Unless the provider is into WiMax now they are in trouble big time.
