Oh yeah, here's the funny part
Since I've ditched the Telco I now qualify for the new user programs.

So I can get phone service for less now about $40 with 3 features. I can get an unlimited long distance plan for $20 a month and the internet is $26 month for the first 3 years then goes up to $35 a month after that. On top of that I get a $200 gift card and a free DSL model, wireless firewall router.

When I was a long term customer they wouldn't offer me this but now that I'm no longer a customer I qualify for those incentives.

For $86 buck a month I get what I used to pay $170 month for. As soon as my 1 year with Vonage is up I'm switching back as vonage costs me $78 a month. For $8 I get better internet and better phone service. I can live with that.
