Can you mix form and function?
First, most of the geeks on this board think you can't but if you look at a geek,
they have their own fashion and it tends to be grunge.
Secondly, look at the ZDNet site today. A far cry from what it was in the past and
one can thank Apple for making ZDNet's website what it is today: tabbed
browsing, lots of white, clean interfaces, much more user-friendly, pastels - it's a
much more elegant site today and its much easier to find what you want.
The ZDNet of years past was clunky and not very easy on the eyes. Now, because
they have a better web designer, its much better and you want to spend more time
here. The ad placement is better, as well.
So ZDNet.com has answered the question: fashion and funtion are great
combinations.
But nobody wants to see a geek with a D&G beard, do they!!! - Posted by: mlindl Posted on: 01/29/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
