I think Ms. Reardon needs to take another look at the network topology used at Verizon. It's nothing like the legacy networks many of the cable providers are still saddled with. Most of the network delivery is 100% fiber from video head end to the customers house, which could easily be as much as 75 miles of fiber. You call that "traditional".
