Rural reception on cel phone
I live in Virginia between Washington DC and Richmond and near
Fredericksburg. Interstate 95 bisects Fredericksburg and connects DC
and Richmond. I-95 is less than 4 miles east of me. I can't call out
and though my phone rings I can't make a connection. The coverage
is like swiss cheese, with the holes being weak areas. Thousands of
people commute the 45 miles to DC, daily. This area has been among
the ten fastest growing areas in the country for the last three years,
but cel reception hasn't improved. West of DC 35 miles is Leesburg in
Loudon County. Also in the ten fastest growing areas in the country
and cel phones also don't work in many areas there. Poor reception is
a fact in many populous areas near big cities.
