Factual Error
Its not true about the E911 for Analog signals. I used to work at a company that provided E911 service equipment to the carriers. It didn't matter whether the service was analog or digital, it worked just fine.

Now there are some E911 service that requires a digital signal because the system relies on the phone for that information. It just depends on what the carrier chooses to purchase.
