you are affected. I agree that we should use all legal methods to get criminals but there is a key word - Legal - remember, if it is used successfully against the guilty (legal or not) it will eventually be used against the innocent). The lawyer in oregon is a classic example of how the government can get things so terribly wrong as to accuse and use their "legal" tactics against innocent people. As long as you are on with them using it at will against you when you did nothing wrong, then yes lets not go to the courts. But the courts keep you safe. The courts keep your rights from being trampled on. The courts stop the monopolies. The courts prevent the government from just walking in your house at any time. There has to always be a safeguard to too much power. The courts have served us well this long and should remain as a continual safeguard of law enforcement zealots that will do anything (including killing innocent people) in the name of the law. The courts keep the accountablility in place. Why does George Bush get away with what he has, cause there is no accountability; when you had a republican congress, a republican senate and a republican majority in the supreme court, there was technically no accountibility. Thank God, Americans saw this and changed the tide in time before we create another atrocity.
