Well, I don't know...
I had a kidney stone last year and I've never even held a pager, let alone owned or carried one. And prior to a decade or so ago, lots of people had kidney stones and none of them had pagers!

I think this proves that not having a pager gives you kidney stones! That you had a kidney stone even though you carried a pager just proves that you're more susceptible than most and got it despite the best efforts of your pager's RF energy to dissolve it.
