It can be very real

I wore a pager for over a decade. I always clipped it on my belt on my right hip. Once day I passed a kidney stone. For those of you that don't fully appreciate the pain of this, I once asked a woman (who had stones) what was more painful - childbirth or passing a kidney stone - answer, the stone (by a lot). I of course was very concerned and went through all of the tests for stones - only to find that I had no more! The stone had come from my right kidney - you know, the one that was about 2 inches away from my pager for 10 years. WAS IT THE PAGER? How could it NOT be?

I sh1tcanned the pager after that and wore nothing for a few years. The wife insisted on the virtual collar (cell phone), and I keep it in my front pants pocket. If I get cancer in my left leg, I will certainly know why . . .
