Some things are subliminal
They may not notice it immediately, but rather get an effect over time that they may have been able to isolate as WiFi by inference.

Alternatively, why don't you sit next to a small lump of uranium, and see if you can feel it immediately. You probably wouldn't but you may notice effects on your health after a few days of being near it. By your experiment, does that make it safe? Slow silent killers exist. However, it may be something we choose to add to our list of stressors that we would prefer to live rather with than without. But we have to accept that for some, those stressors create abnormally high reactions.

Effects of EMF will be frequency dependent and different for different people. I have a friend who cannot use a mobile phone. He has had epilepsy and even though with brian operations he is a lot better, but he still has to be wary, and often has to experiment to find what adversely affects him. What is to say some people are not naturally over-sensitive to particular radiations.
