I did
I gave WinMo a try. The subsidized price of my shall remain nameless to protect the innocent manufacturer whose only fault was in choosing WinMo in the first place was $400. Previous to it I had used Treo's for 10 years and was a HUGE Palm geek. But someone told me Palm was outdated and I should try WinMo. Add to that the 25 or so "can't live without 'em" apps I'd had for my Treo's and paid for years ago that I still needed on a daily basis and had, thanks to Palm's backward compatability still worked fine but I had to repurchase for WinMo. These were why I used a smartphone, I had to buy the WinMo versions. I had that god-awful phone only three months and then paid the unsubsidized price to replace it with a Treo running Palm OS Garnet. From that Treo I upgraded one year later to an iPhone 3G. So I did try and it was the WORST phone experience of my long smartphone history. Excellent is not a word I'd apply to Windows Mobile.
