because it is human nature.

This isn't directed at the author that I'm replying to necessarily, however in general I've noticed that most who write comments on articles such as these here on ZDNet tend to take a holier then thou approach to the subject.

Personally I find it hard to believe that the vast majority of US internet users haven't willingly sought after pornographic material at some point in their online adventures. I remember a lot of my peers doing it when I was in high school at the very least.

The article is right sex does sell, because a lot of people like it. Blaming technology for easier access to porn hardly makes sense, looking down on the people who use the Internet for porn doesn't click either. There's been an adult industry of some form or another throughout history, the Internet is just another place to expand the business.

If most of you want to pretend or even believe that you are better then that go right ahead. It's amusing if nothing else. Also keep in mind that online porn is a much safer way to explore one's sexual desires as opposed to actually going out and having sex with another person. Given the state of STD growth in this country and beyond one should appreciate, in a way, Internet pornography as being a safer alternative.

That said, why would anyone want to watch porn on a cell phone or other mobile device? I think it's a dumb idea personally. Anyway, flame on.
