i don't understand....
... are you saying you don't think text spam will become a problem?
Personally, I was annoyed last month because I got a random one....

As for the billions of text messages, I see only a few people sending them; texting each other 1,2,3 thousand times a month (kind of silly if you ask me, since you've got the phone in your hand, you might as well call them). Yet, I'm pretty sure the majority of these people don't pay per message, but rather use a monthly plan.

And why would a company providing a paid service cause you to loose respect for them?

It sounds like, 'those T.V. channels have lots of commericals and make lots of money, I just lost a little more respect for these guys.'
