I hope I can turn it off...
The short run of hdmi cables between devices sat together doesn't bother me. Route them behind the stand neatly and they are invisible.
The headache I get sat near a WiFi adaptor does bother me, once I worked out where the headache was coming from. I have to have my hub set to low power and in a distant part of the house otherwise *I* do get headaches. Your milage may vary but given the concerns over power-lines, cell-phones (which don't incidnetally give me a headache) etc does anyone actually question the validity of continuously irradiating ourselves just to save 3 feet of thin cable?
At least the popcorn won't need to go into the microwave...just place the bag near the DVD player or the TV wink
