We want Cisco.
I believe the statement in the article. Cisco wants the public to know the brand name so people will expect the products at work.

Quoting:

"Technology that we use in the office is seeping into our everyday lives," she said. "And technology decisions that used to be made by the enterprises are now being driven by end-user demands. It's these end users who are encouraging the technology decisions at work."

Other products have reached the enterprise by popular demand. And companies like the maker of Avast! AV provide their product free to users in order to encourage sales at work. That approach must be profitable, or the companies would stop using it.

With that investment, Cisco must be confident the strategy will work.
