If they were smart...
They should just take Intel's lead. In the Dell commercial or whatever, they could say:

[Pan over Cisco chip w/ logo] "...and high speed Internet powered by Cisco broadband..."

Then when people order from Dell, they'll ask for the Cisco card. And when they go to the store and see the Cisco Consumer router for $100, maybe they'll buy it.

They may also try to campaign against M$'s networking products. "If you wanted a hamburger, you wouldn't go to a Pizzaria. Then why would you buy hardware from a software company? [flash M$ logo] Cisco. Supporting your people network."
