...the same thing that happens to ALL other small businesses, some survive and grow into the Googles, Yahoos, Microsofts, IBMs etc. with those deep pockets that you mentioned.

Some fall by the way-side and are unsuccessful.

If only there were a name for such a system.....maybe.....capitalism? Yeah, that's it, and maybe it will be the catalyst for some countries to become great nations, like maybe.....America!

Wouldn't that be cool!?

Or would you prefer a more socialist system with corruption that would make our systems problems look darned tame in comparison?

There is a time and place for gov involvment, but the internet, now? Where's the problem as it stands now? How many players are there on the internet? How many communications companies are there now? The problem that I see is not the internet or isps, but maybe the cable companies with their "exclusive territories".
