I'm really sure they're talking about home users who just don't secure it because they don't think to, and I'm really REALLY sure that there's a pantsload more of them than coffee shops.

And on the home users part, it -is- idiocy. If you're installing something in your home to give you access to the internet wirelessly that doesn't ask you for a password or anything and you, at some point, don't stop to think 'hang on, MAYBE if i can connect to this, someone else can too !!!'.

my mum rings me up for help every time she gets an error message in windows she's never seen before and even she thought of that.
