Internet cell phones

I recently got a prepaid cell phone with internet. I use it to get the local weather and CNN headlines, when I can connect. I still get charged if no connection is made. I try using it to read e-mail, but the process of typing in the password is slow. I Guess I could change my password to all digits but they are the fourth or fifth press of the alpha/numb keys. I try surfing, but again, the effort to imput URLs is not worth the effort. I guess I could get one of those smart phones with a PDA in it or even a bluetooth phone/PDA compbo or WI-FI. But, for now, the cost to upgrade my present phone is not worth the money. I like the versatility of prepay. No contracts and no cancelation penalty. If I could get a PDA phone on prepay, I would be in cyberhog heaven.
