The kids are generating $300 phone bills..
for text messaging! Not sure what other features (sans MMS, maybe) that have gone over big. Executives and business types may have email (IMAP, Blackberry, Exchange) but that is the main usage of the extra features I suspect.

Part of the problem (at leas in the US) is getting signal. Most people complain about coverage (though I personally have not experienced this problem much).
