Protect the world from terrorism eh?

The world does not want or need your president's protection. What is your definition of protection exactly? Invading countries, killing innocent civilians, stealing all of their natural resources, letting big American corporations with cronies in the US government or direct links to top politicians have the contracts for "rebuilding the country" after the US destroyed it, forcing a corrupt system of government (US style of democracy with corporations and greed) onto countries which do not want it.

No my friend, the world needs protection from the biggest terrorist of them all, George Bush Junior and his government. The US government has sowed these seeds many years ago which allowed the current backlash against its state and its citizens. Just because your media is censored, do not assume you understand the world's political situation. As the saying goes, you reap what you sow.

Unfortunately the average American has no idea what your government has been up to. If you were, it would be a lot easier to understand just why September 11th happened and why those particular buildings were attacked. The attack was not an attack on the American people. If they wanted to attack the American people they would have flown planes into a stadium on the day of the Superbowl. The attacks were an attack on the World Bank and the US government. The 5000 odd people that died were is, as your government would call it, collateral damage. Have you heard about the bombing of Panama under the auspice of trying to kill/capture a certain general whose usefullness to the CIA and US government had run it's course. By many accounts more people died in that bombing than in September 11th. This is just one example.

I suggest you read some books such as "Wasted States" by Chomsky and the "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John S. Perkins. You may just see the light and end up with a slightly more open mind. Here is a nice site to start your education of the world beyond your own borders and the real view the world has on your own country.
