Just to add to UncleBubba
Telcos have been buying licenses to lots of WiMAX spectrum, something that is likely necessary to manage the reliability people expect over wide areas. So, telcos WILL likely be a leading source of that WiMAX service...which doesn't surprise me in the least, as they are the ones with the money and knowledge to enter that market.

On the other hand, there will be room for others as well. Telcos will play a part, though.

I do agree. WiMAX is going to change a lot, and very quickly.
