We recently upgraded to Fios.
It's supposed to be faster than DSL, but I haven't noticed it. Then again, I need to use WiFi to connect, so I'm limited to what my "g" card can do.

The tech who installed fios said my mother's 500MHz system will keep the speeds back to base DSL levels, though my 700MHz system can handle it better. Once I upgrade or get a better system box, I give my mother my Athlon. Then we'll see if the switch was worth it.
