VoIP is a Toy!
It's a very basic issue - you can't expect anything other then data services to run with acceptable quality and reliability on a public, shared connectionless network. By the time that anything close to comparable voice (connection-oriented)quality and reliability are obtained, the business case which is based entirely on cost savings is completely gone. Why are we trying to reinvent the wheel?
