I use packet8 it's better than centurytel quality.I get better sound quality, no bleedover ( hearing another conversation or dialing in the background ), no dropped calls, no extra dialing like with prepaid or discount long distance, it just plain works right from minute one. Install and activation took about 5 minutes ( try that with a land line ) and was so simple that my mother ( who can't even run Winblows without trouble ) was able to do it. I pay about 25% of what my landline used to cost and I can take my phone with me on vacation and use it at hotels that provide free internet access ( try that with a landline ).
I have seen NO QUALITY PROBLEMS with VOIP which is something I cannot say about land lines.
If land lines worked this well I would never have changed even with the 75% savings and more features free with VOIP.
