POTS for $9 ??
I would love to know where you get POTS for $9. That can't include all the fees and taxes. Just to have a phone with no additional services, and no long distance is about $30 after fees and taxes where I live, maybe more. It's always been that way everywhere I know of.

By the way, I have Vonage using Charter cable as my broadband provider, and have been using it for over a year, and I think I've had problems once maybe, and that was during really bad weather. No big deal though, like you mentioned, I just grabbed the cell phone.
