Had ATTW, now have Cingular. No problems.
Had ATTW, pretty decent coverage, was bought by Cingular no decrease in service as alleged in the lawsuit, if anything service improved over time. Even fewer dropped calls. Now since my ATTW contract was up, I've switched over to Cingular. Still no problems.

As they say YMMV.
