consumer. So, in this way it is the average Joe saving money. That is definitely what Linux wanted.

Again, anytime manufacturers save money, the savings eventually get to the end user.

And, the one area where prices to consumers are actually rising? The cost of the OS that ships with almost all personal computers. Ever wonder why?
