If I weren't already used to such arrogance, I'd be really pissed off at this story. American's can even begin to understand the passion in soccer. And yes, we don't want to sacrifice passion for perfection and in the process taking 'human-ness' out of this wonderful game. Those controversies are part of the beauty of the game.

When the right technology comes that we don't have to sacrifice passion and human-ness for precision and perfection, soccer will embrace it
