- This reminds me of the Chinese and their desire to monitor internet usage
- We are seeing more and more intrusion by the government in our lives: wiretaps without court orders, detainment without legal representation, and now a law that would make wiretaps on VoIP possible. What else would be possible if this technology is enabled? It generally isn't the first few laws or restrictions that are dangerous to freedoms, but the laws and regulations that follow.
