Doesn't Work for Everyone
I've been using SkypeOut for some time and I have been very happy with it. If the free calling worked I would be delighted, however it doesn't work for everyone. From postings on the Skype forum, it appears that a range of IPs from 69.x.x.x to 7?.x.x.x are still being charged for outgoing calls. Unfortunately, my access falls in this range so trying the "free" service cost me about $1. So far there has been no response from Skype to the storm this has kicked up on the forums.
